Pope Francis cancelled his engagements for Tuesday on account of a painful right knee. “Because of pain in his knee and on the advice of the doctor, Pope Francis has cancelled his planned activities for today,” the Holy See press office said. The 85-year-old pope will not be attending the cardinals’ council which is currently in session. The pope has had problems with his right knee for some time.
