PRESS RELEASE BY THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION: General Election – 3rd June, 2017: Persons who have not yet received their voting document

The Electoral Commission notifies those persons whose name appears in the Election Register published on 6th May, 2017, subject to additions, deletions, and corrections ordered by the revising officer, that they may call personally at their local police station to collect their voting document by showing their identity card as follows:

From Tuesday 23rd May, 2017: from 4.00 pm to 9.00 pm;

On Wednesday 24th May to Friday 26th May, 2017: between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm, and between 3.00 pm and 9.00 pm;

On Saturday 27th May, 2017: between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm, and between 3.00 pm and 10.00 pm;

On Sunday 28th May, 2017: between 8.00 am and noon.

In the locality of St. Paul’s Bay voting documents must be collected from the Qawra Police Station, and in the locality of Ghasri they must be collected from the Government Clinic. In the localities of Iklin, Lija, Marsaskala, Pembroke, Ta’ Xbiex, and Fontana, voting documents must be collected from the local council office during the same days and hours. All applicants must show their identity card. No other identity document will suffice.

Every voter should ensure that the voting document is in his possession as nobody will be allowed to vote without it.
