PRESS RELEASE BY THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT: The Ambassador of Mongolia presents his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca

Ambassador of Mongolia Jambaldorj Tserendorj presented his credentials to the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at The Palace, in Valletta.

During the ceremony, the President of Malta and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations.

Tserendorj is a career diplomat, at present Ambassador of Mongolia to Italy. Before that, he worked as Head of International Cooperation Fund division at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Mongolia, Mongolian first Ambassador to ASEAN, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Commonwealth of Australia for four years. He has held a number of positions in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, including: Deputy director for information and monitoring department, Deputy director for department of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Director for European department, Minister-Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Mongolian to USA, Foreign policy adviser to the Prime Minister of Mongolia, amongst others. Jambaldorj Tserendorj completed a Masters in International studies at the University of Westminster, Diplomatic Academy of London, UK, and a Bachelor of International Journalism and Diplomacy at Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Russia. He speaks English and Russian. Tserendorj is married, and has a son and daughter.
