This morning the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola FlorAncio de Almeida paid a courtesy visit to Speaker Anglu Farrugia.

The two dignitaries noted the various areas in which the two countries could cooperate to further enhance their bilateral relations, including exchanges between their respective parliaments.

The Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the forthcoming EU-Angola Ministerial meeting intended to strengthen cooperation between the two also featured in the talks between Speaker Farrugia and the Angolan Ambassador.

FlorAncio de Almeida was accompanied by Luis Saraiva de Carvalho, First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Rome.
