The strinacrowdfunding.mt digital platform was launched for the second year running.
This initiative is aimed at raising funds in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.
During a press conference related to this initiative, the Chairman of PG Group, Mr John Zarb, urged businesses to come up with promotional initiatives in aid of L-Istrina.
For his part, President George Vella thanked those companies that were already part in this platform last year and thanked in advance all the companies that will be joining.
He said that the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation spends around 13 million euro a year on medicines alone and therefore called on the people to participate as much as possible so that this initiative continues to be a success.
