Speaker of the House of Representatives Anglu Farrugia has expressed his strong condemnation following yesterday’s attack on a fuel tank storage facility near the airport of Abu Dhabi, carried out by Yemen’s Houthi rebels’ movement Ansar Allah, which attack has claimed the lives of three persons and wounded several people.
In his letter addressed to the Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Speaker Farrugia, on behalf of the members of the House of Representatives, conveyed his condolences to the members of the UAE Federal National Council as well as to the families of the deceased, while wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
He expressed his solidarity with the UAE in its fight against terrorism, which is a continuous threat to peace and democracy.
