Reducing emissions from road transport, mobilising funds towards sustainable investments and increasing energy efficiency in buildings emerged as the three main priorities to speed up Malta’s transition towards a green economy that combats climate change.   In its second year running, the five-month #ClimateOn campaign came to an end on Friday, bringing together government, agencies, and private stakeholders on activating real change to address climate change. Chebet and Lokedi of Kenya Win NYC Marathon Races in Debuts

  Kenyans Evans Chebet and Sharon Lokedi made huge splashes in their New York City Marathon debuts Sunday. Chebet won the men’s race and Lokedi the women’s race in her first-ever marathon on an unseasonably warm day, with temperatures in the 70s making it one of the hottest in race history since the marathon was moved to November in 1986.
