County Commissioner Tells Leaders To Focus On Service Delivery

Turkana County Commissioner Jacob Ouma has appealed to elected leaders to focus on delivering services to citizens instead of engaging in premature 2027 election bids.

‘Leaders should unite to address issues touching on education, road constructions, trade and development which are the key agenda and not who will be governor, MP or Woman MP in 2027,” he said.

He added that when the time for politics comes, the national administration will pave way for the politicians to battle it out amongst themselves.

He at the same time cautioned politicians against trading insults saying Kenya as a democracy does not have room for insults.

He cautioned leaders against insulting the head of state yet they expected to benefit from development projects from his office.

‘As leaders let us weigh our words because as a government we shall get to a point where we shall take legal actions against those who violate the law,’ said the administrator.
