Ethiopia Extends Deepest Condolences to Victims of Morocco Earthquake


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the people and Government of Ethiopia, has extended its deepest condolences to the victims of the devastating earthquake in Morocco.



“We stand in solidarity with the bereaved families and the Moroccan people during this difficult time of grief,” the ministry posted on its Facebook.



A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.8 has struck central Morocco, killing at least 1,000 people and causing damage in several areas, it was learned.



The toll makes it the deadliest earthquake to hit Morocco in decades.
