Addis Ababa: Ethiopia is gearing up to host the 2nd UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS+4) in the upcoming month, showcasing its renowned hospitality and commitment to welcoming guests from around the world. State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, emphasized the country’s readiness for the significant event.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, a productive discussion took place between Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye and Stefano Gatti, Directorate-General for Development Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, to ensure the success of the summit. The summit is co-hosted by the governments of Ethiopia and Italy.
The 2nd UN Food Systems Summit Stocktake (UNFSS+4) is scheduled to be held in Addis Ababa from July 27-29, 2025. This event marks an important milestone in the collaboration between Ethiopia and Italy, reflecting their shared commitment to advancing global food systems.
