Officials of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute and Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration said the ongoing massive planting of seedlings will expedite the efforts to build prosperous Ethiopia.
Officials and staffs of Artificial Intelligence Institute and Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration have planted seedlings today as part of the ongoing campaign to plant 500 million seedlings in a single day that started this morning.
During the occasion, the officials said the ongoing planting of seedling is vital to the overall economic development of the country and create better future.
Artificial Intelligence Institute Director General, Worku Gachena said if we continue to participate in tree seedling campaign every year, we will bring about tangible change in our country in few years.
Head of the Minister’s Office at Trade and Regional Integration, Abdissa Yadeta said in addition to fighting against climate change, the green legacy initiative enhances soil fertility and increases production and productivity.
Officials and workers of both institutions have planted trees Artificial Intelligence Institute, Ministry of Trade and Regional integration have planted tree seedlings at Kilinto Industrial Park in Addis Ababa.
Ethiopians from all walks of life have been taking part in today’s campaign with the objective of breaking the 350 million seedlings planting record carried out by Ethiopians in 2019 in a single day.
