ICRC Relief interventions in Bayda discussed

Bayda governor Abdullah Idris discussed on Wednesday with assistant head of the sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Sana’a Fares al-Bishari the mission’s humanitarian interventions and what has been accomplished in the province.

The meeting reviewed the humanitarian and relief situation in the provinces and the matrix of necessary priorities.

Idris pointed to the efforts of the province’s leadership to facilitate the work of international missions and humanitarian organizations to expand the map of their projects and interventions.

For his part, al-Bishari referred to the mission’s efforts in humanitarian and service work in Bayda, pointing out that the mission provided shelter aid, food baskets and cash assistance to the poorest and poorest families, the displaced and those affected by the war, in coordination with the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs and the local authority.

He reviewed the registration mechanism for the displaced and those affected by the war in the city of Bayda, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of the displaced citizens and the host community.
