Machakos County Celebrates Early Christmas with 1500 Orphans


Machakos – In an early Christmas celebration, 1500 orphans from 29 children’s homes gathered at Machakos People’s Park. The event was organized by Wavinya Ndeti, the county governor, in conjunction with the Department of Tourism and Culture.



According to Kenya News Agency, who spoke during the festivities, the event was a commitment from her government to ensure the well-being of these children. Emphasizing the importance of education, she assured the orphans of her administration’s dedication to providing quality education and support for their aspirations.



Governor Ndeti encouraged the children to focus on their studies and strive for better grades. She highlighted the importance of a nurturing environment, stressing that all children deserve care, love, and affection.



The governor also acknowledged and thanked the guardians, sponsors, and partners for their contributions to the success of the Christmas party, underlining the community’s role in supporting these children.
