Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme established

Green hydrogen commissioner, James Mnyupe on Friday announced the establishment of the green hydrogen programmr in Namibia, a groundbreaking initiative poised to revolutionise the country’s energy landscape.

Mnyupe in a media statement availed to Nampa, stated that Namibia boasts abundant renewable energy sources and is an unwavering global leader in green energy production, setting an example for sustainable development worldwide.

“The green hydrogen programme aims to harness the incredible potential of green hydrogen as a cornerstone of our nation’s sustainable energy mix. By leveraging renewable resources, we’re committed to driving economic growth, reducing carbon emission, and ensuring energy security for generations to come,” he said.

Furthermore, to turn this visionary programme into a resounding success, the programme is teaming up with POTENTIA, a renowned hiring agency specialising in identifying exceptional talent, the green hydrogen commissioner said.

“We’re on the lookout for dynamic, passionate individuals who share our dedication to shaping a greener, more prosperous future,” he said.

Mnyupe invites professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from various disciplines to join the programme.
