Addis ababa: Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held talks with Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang on Ethio-China relations, now in its 55th year.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, PM Abiy posted on social media that as all-weather partners, ‘our cooperation has borne significant fruit over the past seven years.’
By maintaining the focus on key economic pillars, including industry, mining, and ICT, both leaders see even greater potential to deepen collaboration and build capabilities in these areas. There are also plans to enhance cooperation in artificial intelligence, logistics, and the clean energy sector, as stated by Prime Minister Abiy.
In his social media post, PM Abiy expressed gratitude to Premier Li Qiang for their engaging exchange, highlighting the significant achievements and future prospects for Ethio-China relations.
