PRESS RELEASE ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY FOR EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT: Post-secondary education proposals open for consultation

A ministerial working group on post-secondary education in Malta has recommended 26 proposals which were included in a consultation call which opened today.

The report identifies 13 key challenges which can be broadly classified as follows: teaching and learning; pedagogy; assessment of learning; infrastructure management; and governance.

Based on these present and future challenges, the working group has presented the Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo a total of 26 proposals which provide tangible solutions and a way forward.

During a press conference held earlier today to launch the consultation, Minister Bartolo said this is another step by which to reach more young people and provide a wider and improved education system.
