Addis Ababa: State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mesganu Arga held discussions with Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Netherlands, Steven Collet today.
State Minister Mesganu commended the Dutch government’s assistance in development efforts of the country and reiterated Ethiopia’s readiness to further enhance its cooperation with the Netherlands in the areas of investment and trade.
He underscored the importance of further exploring new opportunities of cooperation.
He also stressed on Ethiopia’s contribution to regional security and stability and nature of the recently reached agreement with Somaliland, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Steven Collet on his part said the relation of the two countries is based on the principles of interdependency and cooperation that ensures mutual benefits.
