Workshop on preparation of registering, establishing small, micro-enterprises held

A workshop began in the Capital Sana’a on the preparation of the comprehensive and unified guide for the procedures for registering and establishing small and micro enterprises in the official institutions.

The workshop organized by the Public Authority for Development of Small and Micro-Enterprises in cooperation with the National Committee for Women.

In ten days, the workshop will discuss the current status of the map for registering and establishing small and micro-enterprises and the mechanism for improving it in accordance with the current conditions and helps create a suitable environment for small and micro-enterprises, in addition to defining the steps for registering and issuing permits for these projects.

Head of the Small and Micro-Enterprises Development Authority Ahmed al-Kibsi stressed the importance of the workshop in coming up with a unified vision about the optimal arrangement for the procedures and steps for registering and issuing permits for small and micro projects with all concerned authorities.

Al-Kibsi explained that the workshop comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to develop national strategies and policies in support of small and micro enterprises to enhance their presence and increase their contribution to the GDP, as well as provide a supportive environment that helps the development of small and micro enterprises.
